City of Town and Country Finance Director
The City of Town and Country is seeking candidates for the position of Finance Director. He/she shall hold, as a minimum, a bachelor's degree in accounting, public/business administration, or a related field from an accredited university, and shall have at least five years experience in the field of municipal accounting or finance and at least five years of supervisory experience. Priority shall be given to any candidate who has earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO).
This position performs complex professional and administrative work involving planning, organizing, directing and evaluating all phases of the City’s financial activities. He/She performs accounting and payroll activities, manages benefits, prepares financial statements, ensures budgetary compliance, oversees internal controls, executes the City’s investment policy, and performs various other financial analysis projects including the preparation of materials for the annual budget and audit. He/She oversees the finance staff. This is an exempt position. Salary is DOQ.
