The city limits the number of liquor licenses issued for each licensing classification. The license year begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year.
The Board of Aldermen has authorized the following license classifications and license fees:
- Sale of All Liquor by the Drink
License Fee: $450
- Sunday Sale of Liquor by the Drink
Must Have Valid Weekday License
License Fee: $300
- Sale of All Liquor by the Drink (except packaged liquor)
License Fee: $400
- Sunday Sale of All Liquor by the Drink (except packaged liquor)
Must Have Valid Weekday License
License Fee: $250
- Sale of All Packaged Liquor
License Fee: $150
- Sunday Sale of Packaged Liquor
Must Have Valid Weekday License
License Fee: $300
- Twenty-Two Percent Manufacturer-Beer or Wine
License Fee: $200.00
Temporary License
A temporary liquor license must be obtained for the sale of liquor by the drink, by a church, school, civic or charitable club or organization, at a picnic, bazaar, fair or similar gathering. There is a $15 fee per permit.
