Demolition Permit Requirements

  • Demolition application and fee. The fee is $30.00 per structure and $60.00 per inspection. Two inspections are normally required.
  • Cash escrow deposit of $5,000 is required for street guarantees before demolition and / or building permits will be issued.
  • Tree Protection Plan as described in Section 405.336 of the Town & Country Municipal Code.

Demolition work shall be completed withing thirty (30) days after the date of issuance of the demolition permit. The building official may, after receiving a written request from the applicant, grant one or more thirty day extensions to each permit if the applicant presents evidence of justifiable cause.
